Healing Wizdom's Annual Update 2009

As we all know 2009 has had its extra challenges. The economy has affected all of us and we send out our love and support to everyone out there, our extra blessings to those that are being particularly hard hit. May we find that our country and world come back stronger with dedicated efforts to raise the consciousness of our systems. Thanks to all of you, Healing Wizdom and Creative Colours are both chugging along, looking forward to the next upswing, but happily hanging in there till that time arrives. We are particularly grateful to everyone who has taken the time to participate in our internet review program, as it is those reviews right now that are the #1 reason that new clients give for choosing us→ thanks so much, lets keep them coming! For those of you who have not yet participated please ask us for our postcard on how you can earn a free hour service (or $70 worth of hair services) for telling others on-line of your great experiences with us. It’s our greatest blessing during these on-going challenging times and it is our pleasure to give back.

This year has been a busy year with the opening of the new salon and keeping up with the next level of demands that this economy brings to the small business. If you haven’t visited us in a while you will be pleased with our new arrangement which has opened up the spa for greater ease of movement. We have enjoyed receiving all the positive comments and everyone is less apt to bump into each other within our cozy little space ☺

Great new addition: we are thrilled to welcome into our Healing Wizdom family Marty Toot and her ‘Angel Sensations.’ She is a great angel reader and can help you gain insight into all aspects of your life with the nurturing touch of all information coming through the support of the Angelic Realm. Over a year ago, Tamara went to see her and has never had a psychic so clearly know all of her inner truths and challenges from the very first moment, and now Tamara is scheduling her monthly check ups to make sure she is grounded on her path and focusing her energy in all the intelligent angelic ways. (Good news for both Healing Wizdom, Creative Colours and Tamara’s sanity!) Come delight in Marty’s well crafted Angelic space and learn what messages of support and guidance the angels hold for you in the coming times.

Bryna is on the move: nope she is not going anywhere, she has just enrolled in massage school. For those of you who have experienced her wonderful touch during a facial, get ready, for when she is done with her schooling while simultaneously training with Tamara, she will be able to give linked facial and massage services that will be truly well crafted divine!

Our massage department has had much movement this year. Our beloved Jamie Sauders has just moved to Grass Valley to bask in a delightful new found love with a long time friend but fortunately for all of us she will be returning to us on the last week of every month to honor the personal and therapeutic relationships that she has worked hard to create→yay☺ This year we have also been blessed with the addition of Leslie Winn, Annie Thorton and Cheyenne Sippolo to our massage team. They are all talented massage therapists and are continuing to enhance their training in personal session with Tamara. They each have their different styles that are sure to please your senses and have your body, mind and spirit celebrating their magical touch: we encourage you to ask for details and or treat yourself to a delicious massage by each to find your best fit.

We also have developed some great spa wide series specials making it easier and more affordable to honor the investment in yourself while enjoying all the benefits regular services deliver.

We also welcome Kim Romska and Jordan Lang to our lovely reception team to help Mary to relax and help operations run smoothly.

Shirley Love and Tamara are enjoying filling the salon with good company and creatively colourful beauty and have introduced several more products to compliment their fabulous services. We are particularly in love with our DermArgan Organics line. We also have a great hair smoothing product that is all natural and healthy for the hair that can help to tame unruly locks for easy silky styling. To keep our men happy we now carry Crew and have just brought in travel size gift sets, great for the holidays and to encourage our men to take quality care of themselves. (Speaking of men Tamara has also become happily engaged this year and Shirley has become happily single!)

We are also going totally green in the salon, we have an ammonia free color line by request, the majority of our styling products are organic and we are now recycling everything we possibly can, we are even sending our hair clippings to a company that helps to clean oil spills! Tamara’s New Years vision includes her enrolling in an instructors program for cosmetology and although she has no idea where she will find the time, she is excited for this next step more fully aligning her career with the aspect of training.

With all of this said, we hope that your 2009 was full of growth and joy, creating movement and memories for your life book, and that the coming holidays and New Year find you and yours healthy and happy with positive outlooks for all that is to come.
